INDOT to host public information meeting for ProPEL U.S. 41 study

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation will host a public information meeting for a Planning and Environmental Linkage (PEL) study along the U.S. 41 corridor in Vigo County. The purpose of the meeting is to offer the public an opportunity to provide feedback on the future of the U.S. 41 corridor from Harlan Drive to Haythorne Avenue.
The ProPEL U.S. 41 study will be collaborative, data-driven, and inspired by public input. Throughout the study, INDOT is asking for the public's help in identifying needs and what they want the corridor to look like in the future.
What: Public information meeting for ProPEL U.S. 41 study
When: Tuesday, September 30, presentation at 5:30 p.m. (Doors open at 5 p.m)
Where: Terre Haute South Vigo High School, 3737 S. 7th Street, Terre Haute, IN, 47802
INDOT invites members of the public to learn more about the project and interact with the project team during an open house, happening prior to and following the formal presentation. A study website will be available at ProPELUS41.com prior to September 30.

Oral comments will be recorded in-person only. Written comments submitted both in-person and online during the hearing will be recorded and responded to in a written manner at a future date. Constituents will be unable to submit oral comments via the livestream.
A recording of the livestream and the presentation will be posted on INDOT’s and the study website at a later date. The recording will be available online for up to 90 days.
